Why didn't you upgrade spellthiefs at all in that game?

That's how I felt at least.
Things I did right:

Still pretty proud of this:

Well, the way now is up. Also I think the info you provide is just right and I don't envy your support main thing, 90% of pre-plat ADCs are crybabies who think they're gods because they went against some ADC who did an early childhood lobotomy and ended up 23/14/something that game

Silver V after going 6-4? That's pretty unusual I'd think.
I play 99.9% of my (ranked) games as support and, honestly, that doesn't happen as often as people seem to think :P

Must be 60% of the time I'm supporting.
"omg you took my kill. omg I went 1v5 and you did nothing. omg we're pushing pre-first recall, I don't even use my trinket we got yanked where are your wards? If I die again I'm afk"
sigh.

Not gonna complain too loudly, knowing that....but yea, I'm a little annoyed that I dropped from where I was at the end of season 4 after going positive in my provisionals

I've only had a couple *****y people so far. And I'm just happy I didn't have to top lane...3 times like I did in my s4 provisionals.

Considering the reset lowered your rating a bit and you then played your placements - which have less of an impact now than in previous seasons - and went 6-4, I wouldn't say that Silver V is too surprising?
Anyway, when I was placed in Silver IV last season my MMR still turned out to be a good bit higher (good enough to skip from IV to II and then II to I without playing a series), I'm assuming that might be the case for you too. Good luck!

Also I feel like analyzing these games is helping my attitude. Forces me to come up with positive things even when the game goes badly.
