Positioning is the main reason I dont play marksmen in their traditional setting anymore. I refuse to play like that. (By "that" I mean being auto attack focused.)
I play
Graves and Quinn at top lane like assassins. I play Varus at mid like an AD caster or mage. I hate being thought of as "the carry" and my positioning when playing those champs in other roles is much better than if I was playing like "a carry".

I don't mind, you and I are pretty different in our playstyles after all :)
as for twitch, he's one of the more position heavy ADCs from what I've been told, but he's super strong right now, and even pretty fun.

If one of his Spray and Pray shots crit, all of them crit.
Also, if you target a minion and the missile hits a tower, you can crit towers.

I was actually going "hm I should try sword of the divine next time" because I was really fed that game.
I haven't actually played mid twitch no, I've been on an ADC kick because I find that it's pretty easy to carry yourself if you have decent mechanics.

Getting back to ranked after taking a break to practice adc, what to I get to do? MID!
well I was like "whatevs gonna go with jayce, it'll be fun".
Lost lane, pretty handily, but top and bot won hard and jarvan did pretty good.
The good: Almost penta (vayne was at 5 HP as I watched her back just outside of attack range while I was snared by varus with no ****ing Q GG :<), did well on farm, even if I lost my lane, made some good plays, pushed objectives
bad: lost lane, still have to practice Q > E combos, Yi is annoying :<

Another Duo with mordecai.
We won this one pretty hard, volibear started red and went top to shut down tryndamere, and because of that riven got pretty strong.
Zyra roamed a lot more and it really hurt us a bit, most of my deaths are because of her and my singling into something.
However, ahri was really nice about it, and even took the blame (when no one else was giving), we eventually won our lane with constant harass, and I pushed down bot lane pretty far. We grouped up and just won fight after fight.
the good: I harassed and CSed well, won my lane, and helped carry
the Bad: my map awareness was poor getting me killed 3 times.
