alistar's just a really strong champ in every way. He's got two stuns, a heal and an ult that makes him basically invincible. Everyone saw his potential at dream hack so I'm sure he's all the rage now.
AP Alistar is kind of lame. Would rather stack aura items on that cow then to have him full AP like everyone has been copying.
