I really think that special guests should only be people very experienced with one champion (for example Best Singed NA). I really dislike how many of the guides just seem copy-pasted to me(i mean Maplestreet didn't even read his Draven guide before it was published, written by someone else). Many of them have the exact same layout which gives the impression that not as much effort was put in.
I mean, it's great that mobafire tries to improve their average top-rated guide quality as much as possible but the new special guest guides aren't nearly as in-depth as they could have been. Many guides by people at platinum+ can prove to be far more impressive(don't want to brag, but i'll use my old Irelia guide as example) detail wise. Feature system far better in my opinion!
Special guests or not, the best guide creators are normally people who enjoy doing them and platinum+ players generally know what they're talking about.
On a personal side note, I don't ever play Irelia sadly :,( . But i have time to create a guide if i start hardcore-maining a champion again. Might happen one day eventually.
