Champion Mastery should be separated through all game modes, besides A.I
Yeah, the Dominion queue is deserted. The map is mostly used for fan made games like catch the teemo. The idea of Dominion is a fine one, it's mechanics just kind of.. suck. Treeline is healthy enough to be semi competitive, but it still has it's issues as well (such as having an even more restrictive meta than Summoner's rift).
btw i dont see why complaining about those game modes, its not like riot can't afford to them and it makes their playerbase happy, also i dont know why they shouldn't add other queues permanently, even challengers or ranked tryharders would enjoy to play some ascension or whatever it is to become permanent. The talk about balancing those game modes is bs to me, cause actually it's made to be something completely different out of the normal game that league is. Surely it wouldn't make the playerbase go away, but it probably would have the exact opposite effect. I mean, i still remember when custom game's list was full of bilions of ARAM games when it wasn't an official queue, and still dominion is used for lots of fan made game modes, as well as summoner's rift is(ultimate bravery just to mention one).
What i'm trying to say, if i wasn't clear enough, is that i just don't see what's the problem about making them perma like dominion and ARAM are, having more game modes would only make people happier and since LoL is the most populated MOBA of all times, and will be for a long time to come, i don't think it'd be a problem to fill those queue tbh, even less played games have some game modes and still they're all played.

What we've been saying about Dominion is exactly why the "funsies" game modes are permanent. Think about it. These are clearly not competitive modes. The novelty will eventually wear off and the queue times would be atrocious. The playerbase for Treeline and Dominion is stretched thin as it is. If more game modes were present, they'd be even more thin. ARAM only maintains a high playerbase because of it's random "cool off from your frustrations" brand of play, or because streamers use it for fan games.
By making these game modes sort of an event, and offering rewards for being a part of them, it spikes interest in the game mode. This also allows Rito to rake in a bit of cash should they decide to make skins or icons or something to tie in with the game mode event. Basically, I think they are smart as hell to NOT make these game modes a permanent staple. It keeps the game fresh when they do roll these out.

They are smart, yes, cause it produces spikes of income, but it doesn't really keeps the game fresh since it just doesn't encourage new players to come in and probably get bored after some games of the same damn stuff that has to be in meta. Also players just probably quit and complain mostly about them being removed everytime it takes them. I admit that i didn't take last TF/graves icon cause of the tryharders in black market and didnt want to put that much effort in that game mode, but yeah surely making the game "fresh" every 6 months ain't that cool.
The only reason people play the game modes is because they aren't permanent. In the Riot released statistics, the only time there are a lot of players queuing up for featured game modes is at the start of their lifespan. Even during their two week lifespan, the amount of players that play it drop dramatically to low numbers.
Thank you to MissMaw for the signatures!

Like I said, the novelty wears off quick. Hexakill was just summoner's rift plus one, and pretty sure people stopped caring on like day 3, so rito was all like "THIS TIME IT'S ON TREELINE ****ERS WOOO" to get people to play it the second time around.

Bet you 95% of Dominion games are hide and seek, which is only usable because there are no hostile towers anywhere on the map.
Dominion is a fun Last minute 'wtf are you going to do game mode' The towers do actually play a part & u can practice your ganks from the bushes like Rengar.(Gengar lol) He can only really play Hide & Seek. The survival rate of any Marksmen is slim Ashe & Jinx have a better mobility rate they Teemo if used their skills correctly & on time. I believe my 9 Dominion wins were mainly from marksmens (might as well look through the buried match history)
Plz note: I'm not hating on Dominion, but no REAL players play this only Against bots & it reminds me of domination CTF.
