Searz's guide is what I've been using to make most of my rune decisions. The rest have been Stonewall's videos when I jungle. ;)
He talks about everything that this thread is asking for and more. Read the guide (not just the title) before you make a statement about whether or not something helps. =_=

You don't even really have to read Searz' guide, I've heard many, many people saying that crit damage is absolutely worthless compared with ArP or even crit chance.
As I understand it, the extra damage from Armour Pen will almost always outweigh the extra critical damage even if your critical rate is very high.

Crit chance>Crit dmg EVEN on a champ like Tryndamere. Only bad or inexperienced players will give value to something like crit damage. If a stat purely relies on having another different stat affected to make it more effective...You're probably looking at a bad stat....Considering Crit DMG is the only rune that I can recall which requires a seperate stat (crit chance) to make it more effective...Yeah CrC>CrD every time.
Posting your own guide is enough to say its not worth reading it..
Topic.
Crit Chance outdoes Crit Dmg overall.
I´ll tend to say that Crit Dmg has its value late game, since most autohit champs WILL buy I.E. and some other Crit Chance items -> You have enough variety to pick from.
But early even on champs like Tryn (even MORE on a champ like Tryn) Crit Chance > Crit Dmg.
And late I´d say its just overkill, you´ll waste way too much early which you wont benefit from late.

Dude, that red line totally has the hots for that blue line. Just look at the way they mingle. Mmmmm oh yeah. Who's a naughty geometrical shape? You are! Oh yes you are blue line!
Don't ever change.
I miss something curvy there...
weeeeell circles arent to everyones taste.

First: Nothing to say against your graph.
Second: The sentence below it.
To be precisely, the last half of it.
I do understand that CrD value is 0 and increases with the amount of CrC, also regarding I.E., the value of CrC rises with extra CrD.
But: Why did the new value of CrC surpasses the previous one after buying I.E.?
Just for example:
(I didnt spend a thought on sth like gold cost etc it seems you didnt do it either, so there shouldnt be some variable mistake)
100AD 33%CrC 250%CrD 12hits 4crits -> 800noncritdmg + 1000critdmg
100AD 50%CrC 200%CrD 12hits 6crits -> 600noncritdmg + 1200critdmg
(Its a bit plain since i assume that 33%CrC will result in 4/12 crits, but oh well that shoudlnt be a problem)
Relying on that thought: More CrD reduces the amount of CrC you need until CrD surpasses it´s value?
