One thing I've learned about being below 1200 ELO is that you can't climb being the support. You need to find either a champ that can carry their own weight or someone to duo with you and play ADC while you support so you can use the teamwork.

mobile mids like Fizz, Twisted Fate, Ahri and Kassadin

carries depend on the team a lot, but Tristana, Vayne, Graves and Ashe can do the trick
