Everyone knows that I'm gay on the interwebs, but my family didn't know about it.
My parents were honestly pissed because me "coming out" to them was pretty much in the form of a joke made randomly. My youngest brother asked some question about something along those lines and I basically said "but what if you like both? 8D" (the smiley face is pertinent, trust me). God they were mad. Not in a hateful way, but in a "we told you to not do this kinda stuff about important things like this" way.

That's the reason I waited years to actually gain courage to tell my mother, I was too afraid of what kind of reaction they would get. My moms reaction was interesting, she was very supportive but she did say some weird things. She also made me remember the guy that I love who I'll never see again. Thanks mom, that made moving on so much easier.
