Well the title explains it. I play AP champions and can't wait to play Viktor. I was scared he was going to be a AD champion that was melee. So happy he is going to be ranged AP. :) Anyone else have thoughts about this?

Because we totally have had looooooooads of supports lately and needed another AP caster

(Also, the only AD champion that's melee is Tryndamere, the rest are offtanks, give or take)

Yeah, man, so many support champions lately, why Riot no make more tanky DPS and AP assassins?

Last AP, ranged caster we had... Ahri... Last patch. I'm soooooo glad that they don't release any supports so people will actually play the role. The game is too passive in that respect.

At least Riven has a shield and gets a bit tanky. Yi and Trynd can build almost completely glass.
