Shen is baaad and the others are viable but far better in other lanes.

Naw, Vayne can do it well and outzones some solo tops.
Brand and Malz are good even if they aren't seen up there due to metagame shifts.
Alistar can do it even though he's a worthless piece of **** up there.
Twitch actually hurts like a ***********er, so yeah...idk.

Besides maybe Ali/Taric for some odd combinations were jungler ganks, you kill, rinse repeat and if they stand under turret you just towerdive anyways.

No, Alistar is a really good solo laner, he just has a really weird build in order to be effective, he has to build like... bruiser/attack speed, Straight AP+Lich Bane, OR CDR/Tanky.
