In duo lane, it is simply hilarious how it can bounce away 30~40% health off of champions if I zone them behind their minions.

If they'd just make his damn drain castable while moving (and nerfing range, leash range, base MS(a little) and maybe the damage a little too).

Fiddles is pretty good now after his buffed.
Your suggestions would ruin Drain.
Dark Wind is ridiculous harass in lane.
R -> E, Q, W, boom, dead target and enemies fleeing left and right.

You want to nerf the cast range, leash range, Fiddles' base MS, and his damage output from drain... =_=
Trust me, from another person's perspective, that's a horrible nerf.
Having to follow a target around would be detrimental to Fiddlesticks.
Terrify should be all you need to keep a person in range.
Having lower base movement would mean he can't stay on targets at all when he Cawcawcaws.
And lowering the damage output, it's already what people max last.
When I lane, I keep it at rank1 until terrify is rank2, and keep it 1 rank below terrify, having already maxed Dark Wind.
When I jungle, I raise it to rank 2 at level3, but that's it, I max everything else out before touch it again. :P

I'm talking about really smalls nerfs here. Of course nothing major.
After looking at his base MS I don't think it needs a nerf. For some reason I was thinking that he had 315 or 320 :3
(he has 310)
I'm thinking something like this:
Drain:
Channel now removed. He can move while draining and disables doesn't cancel Drain. (stuns and CC is to be used to get out of the reduced leash range instead)
Range reduced to 450 from 475.
Leash range reduced to 600 from 650.
Damage might need a nerf by about 5-10 per level. Current is 60/90/120/150/180
