Where exactly would the tags be shown? There's not much room in the Guides page, maybe in the small window that pops up when you hover a guide?
If they do show over there then there's no need to stop a 3 items, you can show the main 6.
Columns can always be added.
At the very least, I feel the style and build tags should be immediately visible.

I presume that tags would be disabled for teams of more than one champ. Usually people have multiple builds on a champ to describe different playstyles anyway. This does throw a problem to those people who make two alternative ways to play a champion a certain way, like two different ways of building AP Katarina, for example.

@Jebus McAzn:
That brings up another problem I have.
I hate-hate-HATE how "team" guides show up on the guide listings (like when you click at the champions at the bottom of the site pages), search functions, and side panel "Similar Builds"
Especially when their rankings are higher, because it makes it difficult to find the focused guides.
I think they should all be default tagged "Teams" or tossed in with the "Other" category.

@JunSupport, we have a plan to resolve that issue, just need time to put it in :( It will treat guides that contain multiple builds of the SAME champion as single-champion guides, and that will allow us to filter team builds out of those listings without also losing those builds that have alternate builds for the same champion. If that makes sense :D
@Matt:
Sounds good, except my own pet-theory that guides shouldn't have multiples of one-champion.
To me, those builds are Jacks of all trades, Masters of none.

Sounds good.
But since I have your attention, my own pet-theory that guides shouldn't have multiples of one-champion.

Which don't do much good for making new-readers do as well as they could; the guides lack the insight that specialized guides have.

You need to log in before commenting.
Don't forget roamers and counter-junglers.
Those can get thrown into "Other."
Ridiculously niche guides if anyone even bothers to write them. Requires an incessant amount of detail about procedures, and even if you display the information properly, counter-jungling and roaming are situational at best.
For example, if you're looking for a Miss Fortune with Rabadon's Deathcap, you could probably just filter for AP and you'd get more or less the same results.
Personally, I`d rather the "Item" Tag be displayed beside the title.
It would help people out a lot if they could get a small preview of the items in the guide.
Seriously, a lot of guides don't tell you anything in the title, it's down right irritating having to click through guides to find the ones you like.
Like, say you're looking for an Ashe build with Infinity Edge. Sadly, (pretend, cause i don't actually know) the top 5 Ashe guides do NOT have IEs in them. The 6th one does.
Now, you/me/strangers being good users, rely on the ratings, have to click to be disappointed numerous times before you find the right one.
