I actually don't think it's a problem with newer guides, as people voting on them will have some of impact - if they see something like
Nasus gaining only 2 damage with each successful
Siphoning Strike, then the guide will be downvoted for being out of date and incorrect.
However, with older guides that already have a good standing of votes will not be sent to a lower percentage for being outdated. I realise that there's no way to counter this, and the expiry filter is actually really really good and it's working as intended.
It's only people who deliberately refresh their guides even when they know the content is outdated who are standing outside the system. But I imagine sooner or later their guides will lower, I guess, due to influxes of downvotes, so I'm arguing a moot point ^^

It's a perfectly valid point :) If you do see these guides, go ahead and report them or PM them to me. We can always "expire" them and PM the author to fix it before they publish again under threat of deletion. If people are bumping severely outdated guides then it looks bad for the site and defeats the purpose of the feature.
