I think new Yi is pretty good, but if you're looking for an alternative melee ADC, try tryndamere. High mobility, good sustain, very annoying character if played correctly. If you're looking for more bursty melee adc, Rengar could be a good choice, but he's a bit higher skillcap because he doesn't have a reliable escape. If you want to get extra trolly, one of my favorite fun champs to play is AD sion. He can be a bit difficult, but in EXTREMELY low elo he can dumpster whole teams. Don't look on moba for a guide, pm me for a general outline. "How do I counter Life Steal Mechanic?" High burst counters lifesteal. If you cc them and 100-0 them in a couple of seconds, they have no opportunity to lifesteal. High burst > lifesteal/sustain. LS on shyvana jungle (i'm assuming jungle)?
