[quote=wRAthoFVuLK]A lot of knowing when to roam just comes from experience, but there are a few key factors that you can look for: If you see the enemy bot lane pushed up, especially if you know there aren't wards/it is pinked. If your top or bot has a lot more health than the enemy and you know you can secure an easy kill. If you see the jungler on the opposite side of the map from where you are planning on going (ie you spot ww at blue on blue team and you see an open opportunity bot). Oftentimes you want to roam after you see the enemy B as well, after you shove the creeps to tower. If there is an assured gank though, or if your jungler is coming to gank, or if THEIR jungler or mid is coming and you have to get there asap, you don't need to push creeps. It can also throw them off if you gank before pushing up creeps as they will expect it less. IF the enemy mid roams and you are pushed to tower, just make sure to ping the second they leave to notify your lanes. If you think they can handle it, or your jungler is nearby, you can stay mid and try to shove. If you think you can pick up some kills from a fight though, or your team will need you or else they will die, sacrifice the CS and get the kills -- they mean a lot more, even if you get assists (team gold) that some CS and XP, and will be ultimately worth it in the long run for both yourself and your allies, especially if you pick up objectives (drags and towers) from it. Try not to b until the enemy does; but if they do, immediately ping the lanes back, especially if there are no wards, and ping mid and let them know he is mia. Besides that there is only so much you can do.[/quote]
