Sensory recreation is not in any way really related to actual time travel. If one had complete control over all the impulses of the brain then it could serve as an illusion, but the actuality never changes..

That is correct, you will not be able to change the past, you will not be able to redo choices you made in life. But still;
How we live in the present is purely based on our senses. We see the world how it is, we hear the world how it is, we smell the world as it is and we feel the world as it is.
The basic idea is that you relive those senses by recording them, which grants the illusion, that you went back in time.
Would be nice if you also could change stuff from the past, but all those paradoxes are annoying >:(

Tired. We've had a lot of problems with our unit lately. We've had the lounge room roof dripping into our electronics (xBox etc). We've had a wire short circuit somewhere in the house due to the hot water system leaking under our house (meaning we had no power for 3 days).
And now there's a huge leak in the bathroom. Going to the toilet means you get drenched from above. Waiting for 9am to call the landlord to report it in.
