Yes there are.

You pick a server situated in the EU, hence, you don't get high ping...

Playing with someone from the US would mean that one of us would get high ping, unfortunately.

How to play TF2:

Go engie.
Build a teleporter entrance as close to your spawn as possible.
Go to front and find a nice place with cover where some battles are going on, build exit.
Build dispenser and turret right next to it.
???
