Please don't think of it as "writing like a grandpa", because this gives so much more info in a much more elegant way than what you wrote first. This way of writing is flat out BETTER than the arbitrary numbers you posted at first, so please keep writing like this.
It's more likely to earn you trust among mature or intelligent members of communities.

Nichijou lacked plot AND story. It's just pieces of a normal life. There is literally no progression, it's just there to make you laugh.

I could care less in the about what you think about an anime.
You seem to be using my own words against me even then saying that it's pathetic to do so.
"Petty details" arn't existent here. I like to analyze and actually understand anime.
I copied the description wikipedia gave because if I gave you mine, it may have sounded awkward.
Cowboy Bebop did have a very good plot contrary to what you may think.
Every single character in the story had a tragic past. The anime overall tries to teach us that you shouldn't run away from it, but rather, you should face it and relinquish what has been haunting you all this time. Spike is never able to let go of his past with Syndicate, Vicious, and Julia. When he goes seeking closure, he dies. It shows that he could never let go and there is further proof to this when he said that his other eye always sees the past. It was his inability to let go of his past and move on that brought on his demise, while other character like Faye were able to live because they always insisted on moving on.
With that being said, please don't accuse me of not knowing anything about story or plot. I know plenty and I can put up a rather good defense. I'm not a buttheart fanboy, i'm angry because your claims are incorrect and you don't realize that.

Your statement on the story of Nichijou and Bebop and the definition of story contradict each other.
