Done watching EP 5 of Shingeki no Kyojin.
**** hit the fan >:D
Major spoiler, seriously
Okay, I finished watching Another.
Another is argually one of the best, if not the best horror/thriller anime to date. The art/animation is sweet enough. The plot is simply a masterpiece. It's been a while since I've watched an anime with a near flawless plot, with no holes or fillers.
Arguably*
I have a feeling that you're overrating this a bit :P
Also, leave it to me to find plot holes >:D
The Bakuman manga is pretty decent, but nothing special. I'm sure the anime is roughly the same.

hmmmm looking at links now....this is going to take some time to read and so forth. i like the mystery in it though. seems like a lot is going to be solved throughout the story which I like. hard to make any initial theories...I take it you want me to examine the titans no? seems like a lot of people are trying to figure out how they came to be and how they function. will have to get back to you.
How they function is what I'm most curious about and I'm curious about your thoughts since you know biochemistry.
I already "know" where they come from. It has been hinted at and foreshadowed in the manga. There's only one logical conclusion, and that is... not spoiling :)
Try to find it for yourself.
The reasoning for... um... it.. has also been foreshadowed, so good luck finding that too :)
Google has a job title called "Head of Black Community Engagement"..
I don't know whether to cry or laugh.. or both.

Yea I did overrate it a little bit :$ It's just because It was better than I expected, but nevertheless, It's good enough imo.
Well err...hmm ...Maybe there must be 1 or 2 holes but not major enough or else I'd have felt something wrong :3
Another (Manga) must be better than the anime if you wanna try it some time.

Looked at the cast and... sigh..
A lone guy with 5+ girls. Why Japan? Why?
Don't trust the myanimelist cast, there are as much supporting male characters than supporting female characters, adding to the fact that the protagonists are male and female with no (or very little / unnoticable) romance between them.
Don't worry, it's not ecchi it's not a Harem and nothing in the anime implies either of both.

Oh, another reason not to trust myanimelist on anything ^_^

Hey again. I've finished watching Higashi no Eden (the series and Movie 1 and 2).
Higashi no Eden (Eden of the East) was okay. It wasn't bad at all, but I've seen better.
I liked the art, especially on the female characters. The female protagonist was drawn beautifully. Plot/Story wise, It was decent, even good. I liked the concept of what would we do with 10 billion Yen to save our country. But they left so many questions unanswered, a lot of holes, that when It ended it felt...weird in a bad way. Like I was unsatisfied.
The romance was good until the end where they left it ambiguous, whether the main protagonists ended together or not. It was bad for the anime because the romance was one of it's strenghts, especially when the main female was made really well in terms of looks and personality.
Oh well, I wouldn't highly recommend it, but I'd say it wouldn't hurt if you check it out. It's a good anime. Maybe it doesn't stand out, but it's definitely good.
Next I'll be marathoning Kara no Kyoukai movies (I expect it to be good, Aniplex / Type-moon are pros) after I finish college projects (HTML and JavaScript projects, almost done though).
PS: The art on Type-moon's next anime release is so damn good.

It was a marvellous anime. Every episode kept me standing on my toes out of suspense and thrill.

It's been a while since I've watched an anime with a near flawless plot, with no holes or fillers. The concept behind the story feels like it has been ripped off from the movie Final Destination, which doesn't really matter because the studio/writer simply did an excellent job plot/story and visual/audio quality wise.
The only really minor drawback I noticed is that they don't really represent the age well(A 30 years old woman looks as tall and as young as a 15 years old girl).
I have to admit, some scenes scared the living sh*t out of me. The horror element was top quality from the beginning to the end. I really recommend this for horror/thriller fans, even though I doubt that you haven't watched this masterpiece yet.
I like how they slightly disregarded the romance because they didn't want to make you be happy for the protagonists in an anime designed to make you sh*t pants and have sleepless nights for several days :3
TL;DR: A high quality awesome horror/thriller anime. Highly recommended if you enjoy horror anime. I really do.
Next I'll be watching something like action/adventure or romcom so I can take a rest from 12 straight episodes of blood and death. I'll be trying Higashi no Eden and maybe start some time the Bakuman series.
