Jeff smiled at Amanda "Well that's something I cannot do...Ladies Knife? My dear that looks rather concealable and deadly. Much like these" Jeff fanned his hands and between each of his fingers he now held more throwing knives" With another simple flick of his wrists the blades disappeared.
Smirked and nodded his head. He plucked the 5 inch blade from the table and observed it's make, measuring the balances in his hand. He glanced oddly to Jeffy.
"This is a bizarre weighting on this knife..." He murmured softly, before glancing away, feeling as if he had made a mistake in commenting on the blade. "I mean, it feels a bit strange to me." He smiled to Jeffy before offering the blade back. "Don't worry, no business. Seems like you've got a blade for every hair on your chin..." He mused, leaning forward to examine the rather huge10 inch blade. He pulled it out as well and was a bit confused to find this blade had yet another unique weighting to it, that was different still from the smaller blade. He furrowed his brow before returning the blades to their owner.
"Not sure I'd know what to do with so many blades." He leaned back comfortably, making no mention of the various throwing knives he carried on himself in turn. He sat in contemplation about the odd weighting of the blades he just held, going through various throws in his mind.
He smiled to the young woman, looking over the small blade. He nodded in approval, tilting his head slightly. "Madam I never thought I'd say this, but the blade suits you. Elegant, smooth, and yet somehow..." He hesitated a moment in evaluation. "Nevermind." he murmured with shake of his head. "Elegant and smooth." He repeated, taking another sip of the troll's brew, wiping his forehead and pretending to be feeling the effects of the alcohol more than he truly was.

Jeff smiled "Not many notice the weighting. Slightly heavier on the front end because it", He took the small blade. "Serves two purposes, 1..." he threw the blade in an underhanded style hitting a pillar to his right as though he did such a thing daily. "It fits my natural throwing style" he then let another 3 blade slip to his fingers "And 2", he tossed all three blades together and each landed on the tip. "Makes winning bets a hell of a lot easier" he chuckled lightly "As for this" Jeff took the 10 inch blade. "This on the other hand" he spun the blade in his hand rather easily "Balanced for my own particular nasty trick should someone decide to pick a fight. Not entirely necessary but" he flipped the blade around, the snake head hilt acting as a rather effective grip. Suddenly there was an audible "click" and a small 6 inch blade fired from the back end of the blade sticking into the same pillar where his throwing knife currently resided. "You're better off not asking for my blade in a hold up don't ya think?" he laughed
Amanda blushed slightly at the compliment, but kept her composure well enough to appear as if she was just beginning to feel the effects of the drink which she immediately took a hasty sip of. She slipped the small blade back into her purse and resumed her knitting with a small smile on her face.
Jeff smiled casually at Amanda "Who's the hat for? Anyone in particular?" he asked with a yawn. Not having had a sip of his drink he pushed it away, his palette craved something more tame. But didn't ask for it. His eyes fixed on Amanda's hands as they continued to work.
"It's not for anyone, I just like to knit things." she looked up at Jeff only to realize he was too enthralled by her knitting to notice the sly glance. She continued seemingly absentmindedly only stopping to take a few hasty sips from her drink.
He watched her hands keenly for a moment while she was distracted, before nodding. She might be wearing pretty clothing, but she carried a blade and her hands moved well. He wasn't sure what he thought of the quiet woman yet, but she hadn't done anything to worry him so far.
He nodded in agreement, interrupting their conversation randomly "That extra blade might explain the weight I was feeling." He nodded slowly, and in his head added, 'And the hollow feel I noticed' before he stared at the table, eying over the sizable notches where the blades had embedded themselves.
He chuckled finally, seemingly at an awkward moment when nobody has mentioned anything, and stated, "Yes, good sir and kind lady. Blades like those." He raised his mug as if to start a cheers, looking between the two. He played the part of a man on his way to being drunk expertly.

Jeff nodded rather than clink his glass with the man. he wanted his mind sharp for now, recovering his blades from throughout the tavern he returned to his seat. His eyes hesitated over amanda's hands once more. Her beauty was apparent but it was, for now, her cunning he wished to observe. Jeff pulled from his cloak another blade. " anyone want to play five finger fillet?"
In response to Amanda he smiled at her, Jeff preferred to smile a lot, keeps people calm or so was his reasoning, "keeps your fingers strong and your mind at ease?" he asked innocently referring to her knitting.

Jak raised his head a bit, listening to the conversation which seemed a bit tense. All their weapons were being brought out, and Jak noticed immediately what Duff was doing when he started to act drunk. He took a big swig out of his drink, as to signify Duff that he knew.
"Well... Guess this is getting fun.... I cant really help though, since Duff knows what I use and it's not really a blade."
Jak reached behind his back, and took out a long revolver hidden in his jacket. The handle was made of polished wood, with gold etchings. Attached under the tip was a grey sharpened edge, about 7 inches long, just barely enough to be used as a small dagger.
"and as for finger fillet.... I'd rather not. Not so fast with my fingers you see... haha",
he said cheerfully and pretended to take another big gulp.
