I'm only really weirded out by Cassandra having a Templar specialization when she said Seekers have totally different abilities
To be fair, I also really find it weird that Vivienne is a knight enchanter. She doesn't seem the person that wants to go deep in to the fights, more someone that would send someone else to do it for her.

It didn't weird me out because of the three specializations it's the most elegant in terms of actual spells. Rift and Mortaletasi are too messy and brutal, whereas Knight Enchanter is about balancing (self-)protection and force.
"Vivienne darling, would you care to specialize in Knight Enchanting?"
"Oh my dear, that is a charming concept, but whatever would I want to take the role of a knight for?"
"You can cover your own butt and solo dragons."
"Oh? I will need to speak to my tailors about this, my dear, I have absolutely nothing to wear with this new role you propose. Tell me, what are the highlights of Knight Enchanting fashion for the upcoming season?"

And yeah, I figured most first playthroughs would be mages. It's usually where they change the most and the one with the most interesting interactions, but actually it feels that in this game Warrior was the one to take more changes, while a lot about the mages was a reorganization of previous abilities (I was in awe when I saw Force mage on DA2, so powerful without having barely any damaging ability).
I will be a rogue stabber next playthrough for sure.
