I don't have much reason to think that this will turn out worse than ME3.
In fact; so far I think it's probable that it's gonna be better.
Frostbite is an amazing engine, and I don't see any problem with increasing visual fidelity and making development easier (they're gonna use Frostbite on several games, allowing people from different teams to help out each other).
"There is a feeling that the multiplayer aspect will be their main focus and this has given gamers reason to believe that the single player campaign will have some sacrifices made to accommodate this."
This is just a thought from the one writing the article. It doesn't hold much ground.

Aren't you supposed to die at the end of ME3? Why are they making a sequel then?
they've already said, that after 3 came out, shepard's story would be finished. they would focus on other characters within the mass effect universe.

ME3 choices meant nothing anyway in the end.Gaining forces meant nothing in the end.All the choices you made from ME1 and ME2 meant nothing in the end of mass effect 3.Also playing online to liberate some zones from reapers was meaningless in the end.
Also making mass effect 4 would be dumb.
Mass Effect shined with singleplayer but since multiplayer came out it made it worse.

Well MP was awesome and you obv didnt understand the ending. I feel sorry for you. But I dont wanna argue bout ME3, I can't force you to be right though. Woop woop woop.
Thanks to lichblader!

Everyone *****es about Mass Effect 3 because the ending wasnt what Bioware promised. Get over it.
The endings were fine, a bit spotty and had some loopholes, but I didn't feel betrayed at the end of them.
Everyone collectively QQ'd as hard as they could about the last 15 minutes of the game and gave it such a bad rep when the rest of the game was amazing.
There was nothing wrong with Mass Effect 3 except that Bioware lied about the ending. Don't condemn every Mass Effect game after 3 to **** status because your heart was broken over the ending.
I for one am very excited they are going to continue the series.
/endrant.
