We seem to have lost the Xbox 2 through the Xbox 359 iterations. I don't know why Microsoft decided to go with this iteration when the last one we had was so far ahead of it in the sequence. I mean, we expect our consoles to be moving forward, not backward, as time passes, Microsoft.
Also, I have to ponder Microsoft's naming conventions. We went from Windows 98 to Windows XP and Windows Vista (those aren't even numbers!) and then lost a lot of ground in going to Windows 7. I don't get it. Shouldn't 99 come after 98? I'm not sure that Microsoft knows how to count.

the reason they called it the xbox 360 is, no joke, that they didnt want it to be called xbox 2 while competing with ps3. because 3 is better than 2. or something.
so they named it 360, which is a nice number, and looks better than a simple 3.
but the only logical step for 360, 720, would be a bad choice because people would joke that it could only do 720p.

so those who watched the stream over xbox live, anytime the guy on the stream said, 'xbox live', it caused their kinect to turn on, because it heard the phrase 'xbox live'.
they would then lose connection to the stream.
****ing 10/10 microsoft.
edit: you forgot to mention the online bit, you have to connect to the internet at least once through your xbox in order to play it that day. even if its all single player stuff.
