I don't like AP nuke Kennen at all, especially with his AP ratios being so bad that you need to get a lot of magic pen to deal damage late game. It's like Fiddle, except they didn't nerf Kennen's survivability into the ground to give him still ****ty AP ratios.
Well why people like ap kennen is the aoe, Ap kennen can't even compare to As kennen in single target. But AS kennen can't compare to AP kennen in AOE. It is a matter of the enemy team.

The awesome thing about AS Kennen is that if you have a good team your AoE stun is enough to give you an ace. The problem is if you have a bad team you're f*cked.
It reminds me of AP Yi a lot. AS Kennen as the same basic need for a team, although AP Yi can get by a little better because of his meditate tanking.

Rod of Ages maxes out at 630HP and 80AP. Would be really OP with the stats you mentioned.Rylai is a really, really good item on AP Kennen. Definitely core item.
