Ohai guyz!

So I just went tryhard mode with Lulu top (go bot Xin Zhao, I said) and the amount of rapeage was astounding.

Still, I felt like I was building a bit on the whatever side, since I had no clue what bruisers usually build. I don't do bruisers.

My items where:

Mercury's Treads
Trinity Force
Zeke's Herald
Maw of Malmortius

It was working, but I want something less "goofy" and a full build. Halp? :3
Thank you Tsuki for the sig!

Although Lulu has good cooldowns for Trinity, she has one of the worst base ADs in the game. She just doesn't benefit from the Sheen proc on it as much as a lot of other champions could.

I guess?

I tried Frozen Mallet this time, still fun. Faced a Tryndaqueer who switched with Ez midgame, I had twice Ez' farm and eventually we swung for victory

I'm happy that there are people who appreciate Bruiser Lulu. I've been working on a bruiser Lulu guide for quite some time (but I don't know whether I'll ever publish it).

Well, this is generally how I build her at the moment:

Berserker's Greaves
Philosopher's Stone (sell late)
Heart of Gold
Wit's End
Madred's Bloodrazor
Frozen Mallet
Force of Nature
Randuin's Omen

Force of Nature takes the situational spot, feel free to pick up another defensive item in its place.
Replace Berserker's Greaves with Mercury's Treads in late game.

I run 9-21-0 masteries and use greater mark of desolation, Greater Seal of Armor, Greater Glyph of Magic Resist and Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed on her.

I'm not sure yet whether this is an optimal build or not but it has been working quite well for me so far. Much better than Lulu on Trinity Force which I tried a few times.

In case you're interested, here are the few words that I have writtin in my guide so far:

Quoted:

Initially, I started out playing Lulu as a supporter but nowadays I think that she is much better as an AD bruiser in solo top lane.

Here is why:
  1. Lulu's skills can be both: aggressive and supportive. However, I believe that she is less viable as a support in duo bot lane because she doesn't really synergize as much as other supporters with the current roster of AD carries.
  2. In exchange for that her skills are more useful in teamfights.
  3. As an AD bruiser in a solo lane, Lulu can carry and support herself at the same time and will eventually turn into a beefy tank with good supportive spells and a very underestimated ranged damage for her team.

    Pros

+ Ranged attacks = easy farm, easy harass
+ Glitterlance has an EIGHTY PERCENT slow
+ Can easily set up ganks for your jungler
    + Practically ungankable for enemies
    + Decently tanky
    Cons

    - Not a carry.
    - Uses up mana quickly in early levels
    - Not a sidekick with a sidekick anymore.
    - Other players might think that you're a troll

As with Trinity, I'm skeptical about ArPen reds. Her base AD is just so low, AD or AS runes are probably (will do the math on this later) better. I'd suggest AS reds and switch out the quints for MS (Lulu is just sooooo slooooow).

^ I actually have to fully agree with what you said. It makes a lot of sense.
Currently saving up IP to buy those that I don't have. (MS Quints, y u so expensive.)
