Isn't the cooldown on nunu a bit longer?
I do know for sure it heals less then drain.
Yea, but you don't ever run into mana problems and he can function pretty good without smite since he practically has one of his own.

Yeah but jvstm, when fiddle doesnt take smite do you still check the jungle?
I for example never take smite with him as it practically gives away your intentions aswell as take away a perfect ganking spell.

Any competent team will realize that a Fiddle who's MIA 2 minutes into the game is jungling. He's too mana dependent to roam. Also if they don't see another member of your team without Smite, it's safe to assume that you're jungling and they'll probably go to blue anyway.

0_0, ok i get what you are saying but i don't get the always take smite part, i find it a rather useless skill on fiddle as i'd rather have speed+flash or slow+flash then smite(basicly useless at lvl 12+, especially on champion fights) and fiddle's rather quick jungling without it.
Another reason i don't take smite is merely for this reason: Why would i give away that i'm going to jungle when i don't need smite, seems kind of stupid.
You only lose a few seconds off of your jungle route and while you do get another spell, the benefits of having at least one champ with Smite are huge. Cases in point:

A jungler without Smite isn't as efficient anyway.
Means you're going slower, and can potentially lose your buffs to enemy junglers (or trolling allies). Having Smite means having control of the jungle to more degree then your enemy without it.
@Jebus McAzn:
I used to be able to solo Dragon w/ Warwick at level4 w/o Madreds. :D
Stupid AS debuff. >_>

I hide in that bush across the river (not the river bush, but the one right when you come up the ramp. The tiny one.) and wait for the badguys to show themselves in the lane. When they do, I walk up and around into the blue bush and get first blood on their jungler and take blue. Nine times out of ten it works. And if I fail to get the gank, I only miss out on about half a bar of experience, as the lane is just a short walk away.
