question about malady's effect

so I get malady on my AP hybrids, but my question is about that "Unique: Your basic attacks deal 20 bonus magic damage ", how can I increase this damage? I know AP doesn't affect it, but what does? Having more Magic Penetration? Or is it a static 20 bonus magic?

And on that topic lulu's passive, that pixi damage, does it increase with more magic penetration or is it unaffected by anything?

1: Only way to increase the damage is to get them under 0 MR. IE, more magic pen, more damage.

2: Lulu's passive is effected by magic pen of the person who is wielding it.

Ah I see! So in that aspect that 20 damage is reduced if they have magic resist. So I need to get magic pen to keep Maladys damage from being reduced.

Lulu and Teemo are the only people I would ever consider getting it on. It works well in their kits.

Yeah you need 100% magic penetration or (almost) the amount of their MR in absolute Magic penetration ou magic reduction.

As you wont never have this, you Malady proc will deal ~10-15 dmg per hit

Half the point of buying Malady is it gives an on-hit MR reduction. You're supposed to use it in conjunction with abilities or items that deal magic damage. If you just want some on-hit damage, get Wit's End or Ionic Spark or something.

That's also one of the reasons that Malady isn't used much. It doesn't do a whole lot on its own and usually there really isn't room to build it. You could use it on teemo or warwick or something, but they have other items that are more important to get.

Not to mention that Malady supports hybrid builds which make use of autoattacks....

How many champs are out there doing that?

5-6 at best but half of them doesn't even want MrP, because they rely greatly on AD/physical dmg, too.
