Aggressive Alistar shines best with surprise early ganks. 2-3 early kills for your carries do so much.

******** ap stairs is so awesome. i thought with hte nerfs to his scaling on q w would ruin ap stairs but his passive has made him so ridiculous.

I prefer AP roam alistar, makes your ganks very effective (after you pulv you do more damage with trample, then headbutt combo).

I'm a bit sketchy about it, but it may work.
He really only stacked D rings though.. That seems like a decent strategy, but I'd like my GP5 items before that. (1 or 2)
I really liked the trick they did with the golems. But you'll need a good teammate for that :/

I play alistar with the core items boots of mobility, aegis, and shurelia's, with at least flash.
This let's him get where he needs to go poison yourself quickly and either save teammates or guarantee enemy deaths.
You NEED to play aggressive. You also need to understand when to use your ult, a poorly timed ult can cost your life leading to the death of a teammate.
After the core build, build situational/utility items.
