Personally, I find Trundle's passive useful - not amazing, but useful - in the jungle, which is where he's meant to be, anyway. It's nice to gain health after a champion death as well, but you'll find it most useful when you're healed for a substantial amount after killing Golem. The passive gives him great survivability in the jungle, as if he starts with a Vampiric Scepter, he can jungle almost indefinitely.
He's fine without any buff to his passive.

I'm truly serious (btw, how do you know it's 20 health? It's percentage).
Really, it can turn the battle. Ashe is squishy as hell, you steal her damage, you slow her down, you can exhaust her (if you have it), and you'll whack her to bits. If you jungle with him (as you SHOULD be doing) you can smite a minion to gain HP. Also, you probably have a Wriggle's, so that heals you as well. So yes, I AM serious. It can really keep you up, and you'll be able to fool them to believe you're an easier target than you are.
I've done it loads of times. Run into a 1v1 with 20% hp, whack on my target, smite a minion to gain HP, and won it. Not being fed, that is.
It works :)

well this shouldnt be happening but for theory crafting, first minion wave has 445(+3.35/wave) health for a melee minion. 2% of that is 8.9
caster minions have 280(+2.5/wave), which is 5.6
so the first minion wave gives you a whopping 43.5 hp.

The regular Soldier (shield + sword) minion got 405 health, and gains 40 health every third minute. They also gain 100 health per inhibitor that is destroyed.
The regular Mage (caster) minion got 280 health, and gains 15 health every third minute. They also gain 75 health for each inhibitor thats down.
How is that 43.5 hp per WAVE?

i said the first wave. second my info from the wiki said 445 hp. and from what the wiki says 40 per every 3 minutes doesn't sound right either. but i dont really pay attention in game so idk.
as i said it was only for the first wave.

I found my info on League Craft and I don't really want to give them any credit for being right >_>
Either way.. I've done it and it worked. I'm not saying it's a brilliant way, and that it lands you a sure kill, but you appear weaker then you really are, which gives you the edge.

how about he gains a percentage of his own HP back. I know it doesnt make sense being called what it is currently called but i have only had success with it is when fighting a few low hp tanks and get massive hp from them. A squishy generally has around 2-2.5k HP which at 6% is like 240 to 300 hp. Helpful yes. Great no. thats like one AA or half a nuke.

Depends on the character. You're not really going to be taking as much damage considering you're focusing the right characters with your Q and R respectively, anyways.
