Is Irelia worth the grind?

She is so annoying, as a top lane main, usually fizz, after I do a combo, she just stuns me and heals and does an absurd amount of damage. So I want to main her as my second champ, so is she worth it to grind out 4800?

She's definitely well worth the purchase. The reason why you find her so annoying is maybe because she's really good in 1v1 exchanges. She has a decent laning phase and after picking up early kills, she can really dominate a game. However, she tends to slightly fall off in the late game but her tankiness is still an asset to your team.

To add: she's not that strong at early stages, so you can trade there (still short bursts though, Q, AA, W, E out or something like that on Fizz). Around lv6-9 she starts to get in her element.

Sure she's worth , she , as fizz is a high skill cap champion , so you will not get bored easly :) . And , overall is good to have new champions . Just try to play her until you get that ip back , that should give you a nice ideea of how you should play her as you will play alot of games with her :)

Irelia is definitely worth this purchase. Her early game is a tad weak, however once she gets a few items to back her up (namely Trinity Force) she is a God at exchanging 1v1. However, unlike most bursty champions, Irelia can fall off later into the game. I know from experience. She is like Kled in a sense. She focuses on one target, kills, and moves onto another. Also, she is given nice mobility, true damage + a heal, and then if things get hairy a conditional stun, with her chaser / finisher ult.
