why should you play teemo
So, why should you pick Teemo? Well, if you like annoying your enemies to death, controlling the map like a sneaky ninja, and generally being that tiny terror everyone loves to hate, Teemo is your guy.
Here’s why Teemo is the perfect little devil for you:
- Solo King – Great in 1v1s thanks to his blinding darts and poison. Your lane opponent will never know what hit ‘em.
- Mushroom Madness – Place your Noxious Traps all over the map and watch enemies explode, slow down, or rage quit.
- Stealth Mode Activated – Hide in bushes and become basically invisible. Surprise attacks? Check.
- Low Elo Carry? High Elo Challenge? – Teemo is equally terrifying for newbies and veterans.
- Most Hated Champion in the Game – If you want to make enemies salty, you’re set.

Guerrilla Warfare (Passive) Teemo becomes invisible after standing still for 1.5 seconds or while hiding in a bush. Exiting stealth grants bonus attack speed for a few seconds. Pro Tip: Camp bushes like a sneaky ninja and catch your enemies off guard. Nothing says “surprise” like a crit from the shadows. |

Blinding Dart (Q) Shoots a dart that deals magic damage and blinds the target, causing their auto-attacks to miss. Pro Tip: Use it on pesky ADCs and auto-attackers to shut down their damage. Watch Jax, Yasuo, and Master Yi flail helplessly. |

Move Quick (W) Passively gains movement speed when not damaged. Activate for a burst of speed. Pro Tip: Use this to dodge skillshots, chase kills, or run away like the tiny scamp you are. |

Toxic Shot (E) Imbues Teemo's basic attacks with poison, dealing damage over time. Pro Tip: Keep poking and prodding your lane opponent with auto attacks — poison adds up quickly! |

- Plant around objectives like Baron and Dragon to control the map.
- Scatter them in bushes and jungle paths to set deadly traps.
- Use them as wards — they last a long time and keep enemies guessing.
- Drop them on your escape routes to slow down pursuers.

- Poke with your poisoned auto attacks
to whittle down their health.
- Place mushrooms
in key spots like river entrances and jungle paths to deny enemy jungler access and alert teammates.
- Play safe, but be ready to go aggressive if the enemy overextends.
Remember: early pressure leads to mid and late-game dominance — or at least plenty of salt from your foes.

- Roam with your speed boost
and spread mushrooms

- In team fights, stay on the edges and poke with your blind and poison — don’t be a frontline hero.
- Protect your vision with mushrooms, deny enemy movements, and force fights on your terms.
- Late game mushrooms are literal landmines — place them wisely and watch the chaos unfold.
If you master this, you’ll be the ultimate thorn in your enemy’s side.
