League of Legends (LoL) Question: diana top

I personally think it could work well. I like the build path suggested by TheAsawasana but think that a more bruiser like build would be needed for the same reason ekko builds tank. The meta for top lane right now is a solid engage tank or bruiser. Diana isn't tanky enough with a full ap build to accomplish that role. For this reason I think a slightly tankier build path would be more viable. Not sure which items exactly would work (not having played too much Diana myself), but I think that is whats needed. Hope that gives some insight :)

Dude, I wanted to ask the very same question, since it seems that AP assassins are becoming more and more powerful for solo lanes.

Frankly, I think that it actually might work pretty well. I had an idea about a build path (although different match-ups require different itemizations, obviously).

I was thinking about Nashor's Tooth, Rylai's Crystal Scepter (probably the two most important items for Diana top), Hextech Gunblade, Lich Bane, Guinsoo's Rageblade, Rabadon's Deathcap, Zhonya's Hourglass being the most preferred items. I am not sure about the actual combination and build-path, but let's see what others have to say about the idea.
