League of Legends (LoL) Question: How to get an S rank on various champion types (ADC, Support, Jungle) ?

How to get an S rank on various champion types (ADC, Support, Jungle) ?

I am a Twitch main and it has been a while since I have mastered the champ till mastery level 6. Since then, no matter how good the game is, the best I manage to get is A+. S ranks are hard to come by.
Same thing with Soraka, my second main, the last game that I played with her ( 1/1/24 ) I was pretty sure it would be a S rank, but yet again I got another A+.
So my question is, how should I manage/playout my game in order to land myself some S ranks, especially on the roles/champs I play most which would be ADC (Twitch), Support (Soraka) and sometimes Jungle (again Twitch).
Things to consider would be Creep Score (How much CS would be a good CS ?), warding and destroying opponent wards (effective use of Trinklets)?, kill/death/support ratio (is there a maximum number of deaths that affects your S rank)?
    Thank you in advance :)

The more wards you put the more likely you are to get a s on the champ (if they are a support) the more important warding is to get a s on the support as well. And if you want to get good wards, buy a sightstone and spam in it base while sitting under a fountain, it will count as a positioned ward, and will refill automatically, thereby giving you unlimited placement of wards. canon printer error b200

I hope you're not serious about this. Given that sightstone doesn't even exist anymore and the max # of wards you're allowed to have placed is 3, as well as the fact that wards in base don't give you anything, your idea is completely invalid in so many ways

A lot of gamers have a question in their mind "how to get an s in league?". Because League of Legends is a competitive game where everyone needs to contribute greatly in order to make their team come out on top. One bad or AFK player can cause you to lose a match. Getting S rank is a little bit difficult. There are some factors which help to get this one. 1st one is CS or Creep Score is very important and hit creeps to earn more gold. 2nd Kill-to-death ratio is also very important. Other factors chasing objectives such as drake, turrets, etc.

    Thank you for your feedback.
Yeah, it has been along time since I posted this question :D
But looking back at it now, my game has improved a lot compared to how I used to play back then.
I have a better understanding of the things you have mentioned; CS, KDR, and objective control.
I still have room to improve on my CS tho, because as a ADC i managed almost 200 on average on a 30 minutes game.
Other than that, I have a much better understanding of the game now.
    Thank you,

I play support in PvP games and I only really get S ranked for the match if I get a couple more kills than deaths. Looking at my recent history I got S+ on Morgana for going 8/2/22, S+ on Leona for going 3/0/21 and S- on Leona for going 4/2/13. On the other hand, I got A+ for 1/0/23 on Janna and A- for 2/2/12 on Zilean. Most players who play support get negative K/D ratios, check out the stats websites to see what I mean, so going positive by just a couple of kills should get you the top grades in an otherwise good match.

It's pretty simple actually, just play and enjoy the game. If you have a good game with kills/farm and assists you will get an S. You have a higher chance of getting an S while playing with a team.

    3 Things impact your grade:
    1. CS (Doesn't matter a lot on support champs like Janna or Soraka and applies a little to relic shield supports, as they need that "relic shield stack cs" Ex. Braum)
    2. Kill Participation (Especially on support, you need this a lot.)
3: Damage to champs, aggression (You can't just cs all game. You got to play aggressive, get objectives, get kills)
Basically don't die a lot. Don't feed and you can fit these criteria too. Vision is also quite important on support, but from my experience on other roles you don't need to place that many wards, just place them often enough that you don't have 2 stacks on your ward.

The ranking system ranks you depending on how well you did compared to other players on that specific champion.

For example, if you get 100/0/40 as Soraka in a game, you WILL get an S+ not just because of your insane kda, but because no one else is anywhere near that kind of kda in your region.

While I can't speak for all the other roles, the secret to Jungle S ranks is cs. I once went 4/5/8 with Amumu jungle and got an S- due to my 300 cs. If you're grinding for S's, afkfarm a level between every gank or dragon.

A quick tip for geting S, play strange roles, like twitch top or soraka jungle and at that point you can get S more easy because lol score rating is connected to what lane you play, if you play top it will only look at twitch top to compare to your score and so on.... yw :)

I dont get reported in normal games... I mean you should not be ... its normal afterall and normal is to practice for rantked :) I mean I got S+ Twitch because I went twitch mid, twitch mid is not popular but in some cases its extremly strong. But you need to know somehow how to play it so look at a youtube video before you try it out.

Hi, never thought of it that way :O
But do we not have to win the game ? ( and avoid a major lamentation and big time reporting from your own team, for the odd roles / trolling ) ;)

Hi, the mastery rank system is complicated, but what you need to know is:
    1) CS have big role over your rank (especialy not support champion)
    2) KDA mean nothing, what you need is the ratio from it, if you want S on support you need something like 75% assist from all kills (i just wrote a number). Same with laners and kills.

    For example

    If my team is

    40/0/10
    10/0/0
    5/2/3
    6/1/10
    1/1/24

the support won't get S and i think the 10/0/0 won't get neither.

    But if it was

    7/7/10
    7/8/0
    5/9/3
    6/6/10
    1/1/24

Now the support would get S rank or even S+ because he died less then other and more.

Once i was the only one kill that the enemy got and that why i got A+ when all my team got S or S+

You welcome, and yha the main issue is your CS, keep in mind that "perfect" CS it's 10 minion for each minute, one way to keep your CS high is to do jungle camps mid/late game when your lane is in push and you can spend time on that.

As for ranked games the season end soon (November) so keep in mind

    Thanks @moon827,
Although I think I have read somewhere that spamming wards doesn't work for an S rank
for Supports anymore (or any player for that matter),
but I have never tried it with the fountain, and will try it once non the less :)

And regarding adc play, stats from a game I played with Twitch last night

    13/9/14
    25/5/14 (Me)
    8/3/8 *
    6/9/11
    6/8/21

over all team score being 58/34/68,

resulted yet again in another A+ for me.
CS of 185 for a 35 minutes game i think is still less ? (might be the issue) ...
because surprisingly, a Garen with 8/3/8* and a CS of 234 got an S rank :S

So I think CS is the culprit here.

@orrvaa I have yet to play any ranked games, so I don't know much about it.
    Will be playing them soon.

    Thank you both ! :)

Warding is also extremely important in getting an s on support, the more wards you place the more likely you will be to get an s on the champ (if they are a support). And if you want to get good wards, buy a sightstone and spam in it base while sitting under fountain, it will count as a placed ward, and will automatically refill, therefore giving you unlimited ward placement.

If you want to get an S as an adc, there are a few key components to getting one. CS is a huge one, most games i have not gotten an s on when i adc, is due to lack of cs. Champs like twitch, Ashe, Xayah, and Jhin normally dont have a problem with cs, but keep that in mind

    Hope this helps

Yha it's hard to acknowledge it, but if you will get 3 kills and/or most assists you will be able to achive that, with my main i get a lot of S but that why i have only 2 level 7 mastery (and some level 6), one trick you can do too, is play with low elo like for me it was with silvers while i am gold, so it easier to achieve more influence

Hi, the stats from my A+ game playing Soraka was

    1/1/24
    11/3/9
    6/9/9
    3/7/2
    23/6/11

over all team score being 44/26/55

24 assists out of 44 team kills is roughly 54%.
Hmm, I think I know now what you mean for the Support Champ.
    The magic 75%. Got it!

Thank you for your viable information :)
