So. Simple question, why have I been seeing on like every lately?

Becaues it's the gayest soloq item on Ezreal ever.

Honestly speaking once you get it you just permaslow and kite everyone around.

The CC Iceborn gives is ridiculous.

Once they adjust the slow on it for ranged it should be better, but right now it's just a perma-slow.

procs with every , so it's practically a more reliable phage. also provides some mana, armor, and cool down reduction which are not terrible stats for .

It is a lot cheaper than a trinity force, it is a permaslow, and a hard one.
It fixes ezreal pushing problem, where he has no AoE abilities other than his ultimate.
And it gives great stats:
Mana for a champion that uses a lot of it.
Ability power for a champion that has 4 skills scaling with it.
Armor for being the ADC surviving longer.
And the AoE slow along with the proc damage making your Q a lot more damaging.
