If you get a Duo Partner in Solo Q which Lane's would you Go?

im asking this cuz when me and my friend does duo bot other lanes fail so we lose. We try mid and jungle but then top feeds. When we try ad carry and top, jungle failsd. What should i do

    some info

    im good at
    AD carry> support = jungle = Mid > top

    my friend
    Top > jungle > AD carry > support >mid

We can play at least 3 champ in every lane ( i can play every ad carry and my friend can play every solo top champ )

so we are waiting your answers

    Thanks

I don't think there's any formula to this. Me and my duo friend have been to various combinations of roles and I don't think anything stood out like mad.

If you REALLY wanna try a formula, I think the best "combo" is jungle and mid lane, because you both control champions in lanes that allow mobility and overall ganking/helping. If your top lane is feeding, why not gank his top asap?

However, I think what you guys need is to know when to stay in your lanes and when to roam (except for duo bot, unless the carry is so fed the support can roam OR tower is down)

In general, I find that the mid and jungle roles together hold the most power to influence the other lanes.

If you can get a kill or two on the enemy mid laner, I'd really suggest ganking with your jungler. The jungler already does a bit of roaming and ganking, while as the mid laner, with the easiest access out of any lane to the rest of the map, you would have the power to cooridinate 3 man ganks on a failing top lane or 4 man ganks on bottom lane that could turn into free dragons if you get a kill or two.

tl;dr: Mid and Jungle have the best roaming power that can help failing lanes when they coordinate together.

Easiest way if you guys play better than your enemies = ADC / Support.

    Top feeds? NP carry late
Top does ok? GG bot screwed

Jungle / Mid is also ridiculous.
Camp mid lane, make enemy mad, enemy team rages.
Also mid roams are fking scary

Experience has told me otherwise, but to each his own.

That's not true. Only in situations where your team isn't prepared or you simply got caught / tried to 1v1 him would the bruiser actually screw you over hard.

With proper positioning AD becomes the easiest role to carry with.

Through AD / Sup you completely shut down the enemies late game and can deal with other lanes easily as well.

"Top feeds? NP carry late" Isn't exactly like that, there are tops that can menace carries a big deal. Furthermore, you're assuming duo ADC/Support will do good, they can just go mediocre or even fail hard for some reason (overganked, misjudgement, etc)

I actually find the duo bot pair nice but not necessarily optimal. You're restraining two people you supposedly trust (yourself/partner) to a single lane.

Anything works as long as you both do good that's fine for SoloQ

The best duos are the following:
    Bot+AD Carry
    Mid+Jungle
    Top+Jungle

The first two synergize as you're able to call out and secure ganks/kills/objectives with eachother, or you can play as a jungler and synergize with one of the solo lanes so you can gank more easier (e.g. you know when their cooldowns are down allowing you to go there and secure a kill with your friend, or you can hold your lane if they need to back allowing you to transition your jungle and presence easily).

In general if you are duoing you would want to do a solo lane and the jungler or two solo lanes. If you chose to do duo bot lane (adc/support) you are only having influence over one out of the three lanes, but if you do the other options you either have control over all lanes or major control over two lanes.

    Best: Mid/Jungle
    Decent: Top/Jungle
    Sub-optimal: adc/Support

Generally duo queue goes one attack damage carry and one support champion, however, you could always go against the current meta and go whichever lane you want to with your partner (as long as it is viable).

YES to duo middle lane if your team is okay with it.

    NO to duo jungle. Ever.
