Is Out of Control Snowballing a Problem in Season 3?

I've noticed that matches seem to be decided much faster in season 3. One team usually builds an early lead and the game totally snowballs out of hand from there. Has anyone else noticed this?

I don't play ranked, so it could just be an issue of playing with relatively unskilled players, but I didn't notice this in s2.

Nope, it feels to me the same as S2.

Depends on your elo. Low elo, nothing you can do. High elo, easy to deal with.

Snowballing has been "nerfed" s3 so you won't snowball as hard as you would s2, s2 got level 2 kill, thxbye game
s3 gets a kill, now he has little more farm and some more gold, no prob.

snowballing is not really a problem for me(only if someone feeds really hard- like 10 death in laning phase, so that its really a problem to kill the fed person 1 or 2 times). if ur behind, the best suggestion i can give you is to clear the jungle for some gold and to pick a champion whos strong in late game(veigar, nasus, kogmaw, ryze,...), so that u can kill the snowballing champions.

A lot of the champions that kind of erupted with the beginning of S3 are the assassin champions like , , and . They do snowball quite heavily, but snowballing in general has not changed all that much.

Another thing is that just because you are not playing ranked, does not mean you are not playing with unskilled players.
