    jarvan IV or irelia?

    i want to get a new top lanner out of j4 and irelia. who should i get?

    I suggest Jarvan; you get to jump on people and trap them.

    If it's a top laner, then definitely go for Irelia. In the right hands, she is incredibly strong and has very good lane match-ups. Jarvan is definitely a decent top laner, but he excels more in the jungle. Irelia and top lane are perfect for eachother. Definitely go for Irelia.

    This is really on your playstyle. Both jump in but irelia is much more of an assassin while Jarvan is a tank. Take Irelia if your do not mind her complexity or take jarvan for a more simplistic champion.

    Jarvan IV is more of a tank than Irelia. Irelia is a fighter/bruiser.

    I have Irelia and if she is played correctly, she can be one of the hardest champs in the game to counter against. Very strong top laner, but then again it is all a matter of preference. My suggestion= Irelia.
