    Optimal quints for Thresh/Leona support?

What are the optimal quints for tanky aggressive supports? Most importantly Thresh. Should I get mov speed health armor ad quints or something else?

On Thresh I run AD Quints, along with AD Marks. On Leona you could run Armour, Health or HP5 Quints.

+1; Thresh has quite a bit of innate tankiness. His range, and high base damage can make his early game presence even more terrifying with AD quints & reds

For Thresh I run 2 health quints and an armor quint and run ad marks. However, a mix of ad and health in quints could do well with hybrid pen marks. really just preference. And as to the GP10 quints, they were falling out last season and with the gold flow changes they are completely obsolete.

    clearly crit runes.

i know some people do it and will argue that the 1% crit could change the entire game

lolz. those would be optimal for sure(kidding). Although I have seen a single crit chance mark used on a standard Thresh setup on one of the profiles of the pro supports I frequently lurk (Aphromoo, LemonNation, Xpecial. I think it was lemon)

I love health Quints for supports in general. For Thresh, you can go with a mix of health and AD, even though I wouldn't recommend AD ones if you're against a lane where you'd be outranged/outpoked.

I run Greater Mark of Hybrid Penetration on Leona myself. AD marks and armor marks are viable, too.

Sometimes, I like AD marks : you get E first to jump on the other carry, get autos plus the proc of your passive by your ADc, it's quite a bit of damage at level 1. But it heavily depends on the match-up.

If you play Leona/ Thresh and you get HP Quints + Doran's Shield start (pre-nerf), you start with something stupid like 750hp.

My issue is what Marks to use on Leona. Whilst I'm currently just running armour, I'm just looking for something that seems a bit more... I dunno, niche?

I do a mix of HP and AD, but idk if 2 ADs is optimal(er) or if you should take 2 HPs and 1 AD quint.

GP10s aren't worth the early-game snowball bonus you'd get from running more aggressive/tanky runes. You play Leona/ Thresh/ Blitzcrank to be aggressive, not to sit around making gold. An early-game snowball will net you more $$$ than the gold quints.

    GP10 Quints?
