League of Legends (LoL) Question: Who Would Be The Best Champ For Opening The Gates

Nasus and Yorick are what you're looking for (apart from the ones you've stated already).

Tryndamere and Jax are great pushers too, but they aren't as tanky and you likely won't build Zz'Rot Portal on them.

Ummm every champion has his own way do to it, as Tryndamere would just Split and with his ult, Mundo will buy tanky and use his E, and so on.

But the only champion in the game that have an ability (i can't recall any other champion) that help him to do this task is Ziggs, i think his Passive Short Fuse and his W Satchel Charge would be the best for this task.

If you want a split pusher and don't want to hear your teams nagging at you to join in team fights - pick Nasus. You will have a good reason to push haha. But like the other comments Yorick, Shen, Tryndamere (hate him by the way), Jax is good for flanking into team fights from split pushing.

Regarding Zz'rot portal... its a good item on a tanky champ when you have only your inner turrets left and when there is a good balance of AP and AD in the enemy team. Two birds one stone kind of deal - in this case, 3 birds.

Hello there! I play Singed only top lane, and I definitely feel that he is one of the best Split-pushing champions in the meta right now. What you need to do with him differently than other champions is to drop your Zz'rot portal, and then proxy behind the turret. Once someone comes to deal with you, pop your ult and just harass them/lead them away from the Zz'rot. Generally I flip them towards their base as I run that way to proxy and distract them. It's completely fine to intentionally take large amounts of damage from turrets in order to bait them to chase you. I've taken turrets under the noses of entire teams before as they all chase you around while your Zz'rot completely chunks their turrets. This also works for Inhibitors, and even the nexus if you get close enough to that point. The key is, you need to make sure that no minions are going down the lane else the Zz'rot portal will never get its job done, you need to make sure to proxy. It's better for you to be behind the turret taking care of the minions than to be auto-attacking the turret, you end up doing more damage in the long run.

Ziggs would be what you're looking for, but for pushing the only one I really recommend would be tristana with her E and Q combo towers would be a fast push for her and you can easily escape with her W.
