Would you consider Aatrox a jungler?

Just want some thoughts. Personally I think it would work.

It could work theoretically with his sustain and AoEs, but he's 100% designed to be a top-lane duelist.

Hmm, If I played him jungler I would wait till we push up and just gank at their tower because of his passive.

    Just gotta wait.

I wouldn't do it, but it seems like a possibility. To me, it's just an issue of "why do it when other champions do it better and he functions better in other lanes?"

He is OP Top but forget about Top, you have already great top like Kenen or Renektor. Aatrox is viable jungler. He can snowball really hard. He has good camp clearing and some CC for ganks.

Grat clear Speed, but there are others, in my opinion, who can do the CC-Job with much more HP (like Mao etc.)

In my opinion, he's a better jungler than top due to his kit which makes a nice initiator rather than relying on the laner's initiation. Also he has great clear speed and high sustain with just a hunter's machete after lvl 3. His passive also allow him to tower dive at early lvl too

I think it would work with the cc and damage he would bring into ganks.

Aatrox is my main Champ. I`ve played Aatrox as a Top Lane Fighter, Bot Lane Support, Mid Lane AP Champ and also as Jungler. It all works somehow. AP Aatrox is very hard to play, you need to pick your Items very carefully, but once FED its amazingly fun. Top Lane is literrally his Home. Easy Skill - Farming because you have no Mana issue. Propably the easiest Champ to get the FIRST BLOOD. Low HP compared to other Top Lane Tanks but "Warmog`s Armor" will help you out. Once FED, nothing can stop you. Playing Aatrox as Bot-Lane Support is also a nice pick.
If you Decide to Jungle with an Aatrox there is 1 thing you should know. DONT START GANKING IN EARLY GAME. Take your time and get LVL + Money. Go to Lane and Poke them. Show you Presence. After Unlocking your ULTI Go Straight For Drake and Ganks. You will carry the whole Game.

This is My own Aatrox Top-Lane Build. Check it out and leave a Comment and give me a Vote.

Yes he COULD be a jungler if played right. Now please notice the part I am putting in quotes now "if played right"... He has a good jungle game if played in the correct manor but most people do not play him how he should be in the jungle. He needs to farm quite a bit to get his needed items to be effective but once done he can gank quite well. in the current meta i wouldn't dare putting him in the jungle unless my team direly needed some sustain damage but even still i would rather pick some one else. He is mainly meant to be built as a top lane dueler as DKitten but he does have potential to jungle. This being said not many people play him jungle. And as for my statement before about how he isn't ideal in this current meta is due to most junglers prefer having a burst tactic towards ganking while Aatrox is more long fight damage. The only thing going for Aatrox is his jumps and he needs to cut off an escape to kill in jungle.

Like DKitten said with his sustain and aoe it could work well, in the champion spotlight of Aatrox Phreak said it himself "... his powerfull combination of sustain and croud control effects make him an ideal choice for solo lanes or the jungle".

Possibly in a future patch when his blood thirst gets a boost.
