Yo.

Wanted to talk a little bit about the "new" Lucian as it seems to be the biggest change in the patch or at least the change that is getting the most attention. My first opinion was RIP Lucian 7/2014 but I've changed that opinion. The changes were the following:

-Base attack range lowered from 550 to 500

-Piercing Light (Q) range lowered from 550 to 500

-Piercing Light (Q) mana cost now 50/55/60/65/70 from 60/65/70/75/80

-Relentless Pursuit (E) now reads Whenever Lightslinger (his passive) hits an enemy, relentless Pursuit’s cooldown is reduced by 1 second (doubles to 2 seconds Vs enemy champions)

-Relentless Pursuit (E) mana cost has been reduced to 0 from 60/45/30/15/0

Nerf wise: Lucian's range was reduced to ashes basically. Now has shorter range than Quinn. Q's range was nerfed to 500 which is small setback too but not that crucial imo.

Buff wise: Q does 100% damage to minions now which means faster clear. Mana costs of Q and E were brought down. Mana is really important for casters so this is a great buff. Then the most important part: E is now much more useful in team fights because you can use it several times and it resets auto attack. AA reset is really huge along with the mobility.

In conclusion: Lucian must be played more carefully and passively in lane and long range AD carries like Caitlyn will be a serious problem and I'd propably lane swap if possible. In the other hand I think Lucian has much more burst potential and mobility in team fights.

Changes considering item build: I think Trinity Force will make a comeback. Now it's either Youmuu's Ghostblade or Trinity Force in stead of just the youmuu's meta. Also CDR is much more crucial. I would take CDR boots over attack speed boots now. Had a small conversation with GMD about this and I pretty much agreed to CDR being a thing now.
