Views: 1530 Akali - AP, AD or Hybrid?

Hey guys, I recently played a game as akali against another akali in a 5v5. My build was - Dorans blade, Hextech revolver, Mercury's treads, Rylais, Lich blane and that was about it for that game but the other akali built Boots of swiftness, Rabbadons deathcap, Will of the ancients, Void staff etc. In other words full AP. What do you think is better on akali? Full AP or Hybrid?

An end-game build that looks like this should be fine (in no particular order):
Full AP except for a Gunblade.
AD = Sustained dps
AP/AD (Hybrid) = Jack of all trades, master of none.
Imo Akali should be played as AP because her kit all resovles on bursting, then get out.
In general I would say AP has most burst. Hybrid has more sustained damage and AD is weakest overall of the 3.
Also dont know if this applies to your question but I would recommend using as many hybrid pen runes as possible.
