Try clicking "Mark as Read" on the subscriptions page and see if that gets rid of the notifications. As for that second bug, comment here so I get a notification and I'll see"

For now, make sure you save a copy of your guide to a googledoc or local document to make sure you don't lose your changes. We've had a few recent issues with guides not saving"

I don't know the exact thresholds, but it's just something that gets a little fancier over time as you get more experience. People don't"
