There are some abilities (besides channels) that will refresh your autoattack timer, allowing you to deal more DPS if you time your abilities correctly. They're generally on-hit abilities, giving you an effect plus the damage from your regular autoattack.

"-He can only tower dive well at 6 and even then, only for a few seconds.
-He is a great ganker with a superb early game. He can easily gank at level 2 without hurting his jungle speed.
-He's not gold reliant, but he also doesn't snowball as well as some other junglers.

"First rule is you should be playing one of your best champions. If there are two or three champions that you excel at (compared to other champs), try to play them as much as possible.

"The Bloodthirster's a little situational, it's just nice to have some more damage and LS at the end of the build. You could easily swap it for a Maw, Atma's or GA."

There are a lot of ways to build him though. Generally you just get a few DPS items (usually ones with some survivability, like Phage and Wit's End) and then try to balance survivability."
