"Isn't your first build a little low on health? I'd probably drop the FoN in favor of something to boost your health pool. Wit's, Merc's and MR/lvl glyphs should give you a reasonable amount of MR.

"Ryze usually uses his ult to either AoE farm or team fight. In both cases, the extra AoE (besides giving more damage output) lets you heal off of more targets than usual. You may only get a third of the spellvamp off of one Q, but what if it hits 3 or 4 targets?
Theoretically it's an odd combin"
