Greater Mark of Insight are irreplaceable.
Greater Seal of Replenishment for an early game boost (for casters that build some mana regen quickly). You'll probably want these.
Greater Seal of Clarity for full-AP casters. Use these if you aren't build"

"The cloth armor (in Searz' build) isn't totally necessary. You can start with any item you like if you have armor seals. I usually take boots+pot+ward with nunu, though a ruby crystal would get you an earlier heart of gold.

"Stricken: Of course item choices are always situational. If you find yourself in need of damage instead of survivability, replacing BV with BT is fine. Just know that BV IS a great item, since you'll be able to block two spells in a row, not to mention the survivability stats it gives.

"Since Nocturne doesn't work off crit (at least not with my build), an Avarice Blade doesn't contribute much to the build. The Brutalizer is far superior in damage output and cost efficiency. You can build Avarice Blade of course, but I would probably just upgrade it into Youmuu's Ghostbl"
