"Because MrP is a limited stat, which is useful all game. I personally don't bother with them since I end up building void on the really heavy nukers. It's kinda like MS, not a lot of items offer it so it's nice to pick it up where possible.
Despite that, I would pick Potency, Fortitude or Swift"

"Cauch: You say limited, I say focused. He doesn't need to waste money on regen items, which allows him to build a lot of AP and survivability. Not many casters can pull that off well.

Greater Mark of Insight are irreplaceable.
Greater Seal of Replenishment for an early game boost (for casters that build some mana regen quickly). You'll probably want these.
Greater Seal of Clarity for full-AP casters. Use these if you aren't build"
