I think that's moreso attributed to the fact that diamondprox is a really good jungler, than the fact that jungle nidalee is good haha
If I helped you out, be sure to throw me a +Rep!

She already could jungle before this patch and there were a few pros doing it, I think she can do it better now. Her ganks bring a lot of damage but no CC, and she still has the issues of Nidalee: teamfighting. If you get good javs and position well, she can be really strong.
While Nidalee can jungle, whether she should jungle is... Uh... Much harder to answer.
A couple reasons why I don't really particularly enjoy seeing Nidalee jungle.
First of all, she loses out on the benefits she has in lane (captain obvious to the rescue). The jungle does not provide a sufficient amount of gold for jungle Nidalee to actually be able to get those important core items that will make Nidalee reach her strong point, whether it be the AP or AD variant, unless she ganks a ton. But the issue here is that Nidalee's ganking isn't particularly good either, it's very iffy. The other thing is that she loses one of her main niches to me, her strong lane bullying abilities. To me at least, Nidalee has a lot more benefits in the lane than she does in the jungle. She's also tunneled into the bruiser build in the jungle, which is overall, useless outside of split-pushing. If you want to maximise the potential of Nidalee in particular, then lane Nidalee is much better.
The other important thing is that you are essentially losing all the benefits a strong meta jungler actually brings. The other main niche of Nidalee, for the AP route at least, is that she has ridiculously strong poke, and that is jeapordised in the jungle, so in the end, she has the potential to be a bit useless. The thing is that, is it really worth playing an unreliable jungler when you have champions which are pretty much built for the jungle offering a lot more than what Nidalee can offer from the jungle. By playing Nidalee, you lose out on having much stronger junglers on your team. Yes, I know this is really obvious, but it is still something very important that has to be considered.
Of course, I will give some credit to jungle Nidalee. Nidalee is a champion that snowballs pretty hard simply by nature. Jungle Nidalee allows her to actually have more of a chance to get kills and snowball into something very strong. Additionally, Nidalee is a very strong jungle duelist, granted she lands her abilities. She also has fantastic mobility now for actually traversing the jungle, which does make up for some of her lost speed in clears. There are some other things which are nice for the jungle, such as an auto-attack reset and traps allowing for knowledge of where the enemy jungler is, but in the end, these benefits don't translate very well into late game. In my opinion, bruiser Nidalee is useless, and AP Nidalee clears slowly and doesn't receive enough gold in the jungle to actually be able to get those core items that make her a nuisance.
I just don't really feel like jungle Nidalee is that great. Lane is better, and it does allow her to more reliably get into late game with enough gold for the AP build. And really, there are better junglers that offer more than what Nidalee can. Even mid-tier junglers like Nautilus and Master Yi can offer more than a jungle Nidalee.

Thank you to MissMaw for the signatures!

Nidalee has nothing iffy about her ganks, pre-6 first recall you pressure with red buff to get a Q and then cougar combo, post first buy you got chilling smite which makes it even easier.
I forgot to mention I'm **** at Nidalee, so that probably has factored into my final response. My opinion based off of my own personal experience. I'm happy to stand corrected if I can see an astounding jungle Nidalee completely disprove what I have said.
Imma 'bout to end this man's whole career My rather unimpressive and slowly growing anime list! Currently watching:
