Mmmhm. Different uses imo. Janus' portals double up as an invulnerability as well (like Bard's ult funnily enough).
One thing that is to note though is that Bard and allies travel faster with Magical Journey (thank you Roti for making that its name) than enemies do based on the rank of the ability (starts at 10% faster and is 50% at max rank), so it can act as a reliable escape for you and allies.

The E didn't work as I thought. You need to click on the portal to go through it so it probably won't be a great tool to zone ppl.
What do ppl think about Bard's itemization? I mostly mean the starting component.
At first I thought abpit just taking the Relic Shield and upgrade it later on. This would also mean I'd take probably AD marks and armor quints but now I'm not too sure.
Bard's mana costs are quite big so Frostfang and leaving it there would be decent too. I'll probably lean towards AD runes with Relic Shield but time will tell.

W's mana cost is offset by chimes.
By the way, Tempered Fate, his ult, has 2500 range. It's actually a really good catching tool with that range.

Been talking with some people and think Coin may actually be a decent start and line for Bard to go with as it's automatic and he pretty much roams anyway. (Thus not making the best use of relic or frostfang)

Instead, you get the enemies following you through. No really.
