Where's the Blitzcrank in the roster?

Emoriam, thanks for the tip.
This was a fun game. Not only because we won hard (mostly later in the game) but also because I had nice teammates. Renekton got a little annoying when I told him that even when we managed to grab and kill one of the 4, it wasn't my intention (for him) to go all-in on the rest of them (after this happened two times). But overall, understanding teammates.
Sivir and I pushed early so that we got level 2 before them. I managed to grab Ezreal before Arcane Shift and Black Shield, so we started off pretty well. Morgana proved to be used to playing against Blitzcrank and countered quite a few easy grabs.
It took me a while to get accustomed to the limited morale (or simply belief in my sanity) of my lane partner but after I stopped trying ridiculous stuff we managed to get back and win the lane (they still got our turret first though). We also had full drake control ever since the first one, which was still a bit terrifying because Jarvan IV smited too early (or very late).
Still, J4 did his job at top and mid and Xerath started snowballing. Sivir and Renekton caught up later.
I think that my grabs were pretty decent this game, I did make some stupid misses but still managed to control teamfights. I had to give my life for J4 once because he jumped in on something he shouldn't have, but the other three deaths were my own miscalculations. I'm not really happy about my warding this game, I should have placed more offensive wards in their jungle when we started winning.
I still think it's a bit weird to play Blitz support in a ranked game but I'll add the bot to the roster anyway.

Haha, I only play Blitz to annoy my adc when I'm playing for the laughs and I can trust my team.

hey its blitzcrank
Seriously though, had another nice team. Kalista wanted me to randomly grab in their tribush and out came Graves, immediately having to give up his Flash. During laning phase we managed to uphold the pressure. Xin Zhao was a god and ganked from behind at level 3, giving us a kill and a real lead.
Dealing with Graves' burst proved to be troublesome but we managed pretty well. Lux obviously had issues during laning phase, I still don't get the Lux into Blitzcrank pick. The early Fate's Call briefing I asked for paid out and for the first time in forever (#frozen) it was nice playing with a Kalista. A few grabs later we completely zoned them from the minion wave.
We had wonderful dragon control and when we killed four of them around 22:00 Xin Zhao called a very risky baron. We all barely made it out of the fight alive and literally recalled when we heard the Void Rush. But we got it so I guess one could say it was a brilliant call. Using the baron buff we pushed mid and top, and got an inhibitor at mid lane. After a third dragon we pushed top some more, got another inhibitor and ended the game.
Things I need to do: get better at early invades/grabs. If Kalista hadn't pointed it out I wouldn't have tried. Another thing: learn to manage sudden Fate's Calls a bit better. I once grabbed someone, and went for the knock. Suddenly Kalista ulted me and I ended up shooting in the opposite direction of the champion I just grabbed instead of securing the kill. I also shouldn't forget getting Sweeping Lens right after buying Sightstone, I forgot and that cost us some zoning potential in lane.
Playing Blitzcrank again (outside of inhouses) feels awesome.

My roster for now:
Top: Shen, Gnar, Irelia (rusty)
Jungle: Vi, Jarvan IV, Lee Sin (rusty)
Mid: Katarina, Syndra
Support: Leona, Blitzcrank, Braum, Janna (rusty)
ADC: Ezreal, Graves
2015-03-05: added Blitzcrank
At least the first game's a good one ^^
[Redacted because apparently pomf.se is infected, take care looking through early match history pages]
I thought I was going to have a very nice laning phase but sadly Xerath and Pantheon swapped from the start. I wanted to all-in early but I couldn't keep my rage level low until level 3, and when I did get level three there was a huge minion wave in front of me. I didn't expect Xerath's damage so I gave him first blood early game. But he didn't have teleport so I could just buy Null-Magic Mantle and Boots, after that everything went a lot more smooth.
Shaco managed to get dragon early because we lacked vision of the pit, and bot lane wasn't doing all that well as I expected. But then things started moving, Hecarim gave me a kill at top lane and after that I gave Katarina a kill. I just tried to secure as much kills for Kat as possible and then Shaco started tilting for real, Hecarim and Vayne started snowballing. Some nice teamfights and quite a bit of catches later we got a baron and ended the game.
I noticed I didn't look at my score once during the whole game, so I guess I should do that more often. I'm also going to try to get better at using Teleport, I've been walking when I should have teleported and teleporting while I should have walked too much lately. I'm pretty satisfied about my farming this game, though it could be better.
